The Summer Solstice occurs on the longest day of the year and is the signal that summer has officially begun. Traditionally it is the IDEAL time to pause, reflect, and honor yourself by acknowledging where you’ve come thus far and setting your intention on what you want to create in the second half of the year. Before you put on your swimsuit and hit the beach, join ERYT-200 and Baptiste Certified Yoga Instructor Kate Reinert for a 2-hour Summer Solstice Celebration at A Hopeful Balance!

An All Levels Flow Style Yoga class, filled with creative sequencing to get you off any predictable autopilot you may be experiencing in your current practice
An exploration of several asana (or pose) transitions that you can incorporate into your practice. These transitions will be broken down step-by-step to give you tools to take with you if fear or a current lack of strength or flexibility is keeping you “stuck” at step one. This will include Flip Dog into Wheel, Standing Wide Leg Forward Bend to Tripod Headstand, Crow to Chaturanga, Chair Pose to Side Crow, Eagle Pose to Fallen Angel, Lizard Lunge to Eka Pada Koundinyasana II, and Camel into Wheel.
An intention-setting ceremony honoring how far you’ve come this year and recommitting to create the life you desire in the second half of 2016
