Mindfulness Training Saturday April 9th

It’s a busy world. You juggle constantly. Fold the laundry while on the phone, clean the kitchen while watching television. You plan your day while listeningunnamed to a podcast and commuting, and then organize your weekend to squeeze in as much activity as possible. But in the rush to accomplish necessary tasks, you may find yourself losing your connection with the present moment- missing out on what you’re doing and how you’re feeling.
Mindfulness imgh.pngs the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment- and accepting it as it is. Mindfulness is now being examined scientifically and has been found to be a key element in happiness. It is a state of active, open awareness to the present. When we are mindful, we observe our thoughts and feelings without judgement. Mindful people are present in the moment, fully experiencing each one.
Join us for meditation, breath work and gentle yoga to cultivate your awareness and create lasting balance. Participation had been shown to reduce stress, increase peace and well being, and decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as a number of medical conditions including high blood pressure, arthritis, gastrointestinal discovers, chronic pain, insomnia and fatigue.
